Hey everyone! I will be reviewing my favorite mascara of all time and that is Eyeko Black Magic Mascara! I purchased it a few months back somewhat in July and I have been using it ever since. Despite most mascaras have the longevity of 3 months, this is the fifth month that I am currently using and it still works like magic.

Eyeko Black Magic is a waterproof mascara and it comes in 8ml.
The tube packaging is very unique where you can squeeze the product to make use of the entire product. It comes with a so-called guitar pick to curl your lashes but it disappeared even before I could try heh.

The wand is somewhat unique and it has a curved shape which I have never own one before.
Firstly, I don't have curly lashes. Mines is fortunately long but just blunt straight. No worries! All you need a eyelash curler. But please invest in a good quality eyelash curler. Moreover, I hate using mascaras that require 2 coats to look long and full but it only takes 1 coat for this mascara.

Here comes the testing :
(after curling the lashes) 1 coat  | bare lashes

As you can see, it makes a vast difference and my friends often thought I use fake lashes. Moreover, it is so jet-black. It may be a little messy as it's a wet formula so I suggest you do it patiently. This mascara often do not separate your lashes well so I highly suggest using another mascara to separate your lashes first then apply this for extra definition.

After applying on both eyelashes :

I practically use it for 5 months straight, every single day and I wouldn't even want to try other mascara because it is like my holy grail of mascara! I am quite bummed that it has reached its limit and you can actually feel the substance inside gets lesser and lesser which I find that satisfying when you could actually finish a whole mascara tube.
What I enjoy about this mascara is that it does what it promises to do but it gets dried up pretty quick too. My remedy is to boil it for 5-10 seconds and it will be as good as new.
I believe this mascara is worth purchasing if you want massive 'look-at-me' but it is quite pricey.
It may be a waterproof mascara but it is also easy to remove with makeup remover unlike some mascaras like Benefit They're Real.

Will I repurchase? Yes.

Hope this review helps!

   I really wanted to blog about something worth reading for awhile and as you observed, I revamped my blog to be more personal. Thus, I will try to be more active whilst juggling with everything.
***

Last month, my family and I visited Sydney, Australia.
I have never been there and I was so psyched about it (minus the 8+
hour flight) which this trip was roughly discussed a couple months before and it just happened. I guess you can say it was quite spontaneous and too sudden [?]
We spent 5 days and 4 nights there and it changed my world ever since.

I will not blog about everything in detail but just roughly on here and there and what intrigued me so and so forth.
The view outside our townhouse hotel is green-y. It is a 2-storey so it's pretty homey compare to high rise buildings. It feels more natural here than I thought.

Every morning for breakfast, we will walk about 2 minutes or so to dine in their local restaurants. Oh it's at Redfern street in case you are wondering.

The first restaurant we tried was Baffi & Mo.

The food here is really salty especially I quite keen on salty food but this is plain up pouring grams of salt on the food. We ordered quite a large portion of food that's enough to share with 2-3 people.

That is literally what Big Breakfast looks like. Dude, I come from a small town hence small portion of food so this practically became my brunch.

Coffee here is relatively affordable, $4 dollars a cup? Even at tea salon coffee costs $4 (what the hell) I can't even find flat white here in Malaysia below RM5 and I don't think I ever will.
My staple drink there is flat white alone.

* Passed by an English school *

Tried another restaurant called Tapeo and we were sold! The food here isn't too salty and there's a variety of selections to choose from.

God I personally think it's amazing to pour maple syrup to your bacon because there's a tinge of sweet and savoury. If you are living in this neighbourhood, go ahead and give it a try!

We practically crossed out museums from our visit lists' so we visited the touristy places.

Habourfront & Sydney Opera House
Such gorgeous view and even though it's so sunny but cold wind, I don't mind. It's so breath-taking that you would want to sit back and actually see Sydney closely. At least that's what I did besides taking gazillion photos.

Crossing from George St. to Pitt St. to Liverpool St to almost everywhere we can by foot.
But my parents decided to take taxi the second day so we missed out the whole, 'let's walk on foot' but I don't blame them. It's really tiring but we did walk a lot while we were there.

A friend suggested I try Pancakes On The Rocks and goodness me, I couldn't miss the opportunity.

I think my sister had Bananarama and I had to try Strawberry something. Goodness, the portion is so huge! I ate half of what's served and I wanted to throw up. But thumbs up for it's oh-so-fluffiness.
My sister regretted ordering milkshake because of the heavy sweetness of combination makes you want to stay away from sweet things for a long time. But she got over it after a few hours.

Remember my sister said she couldn't eat any more sweet things after her caramelized pancakes? She had to stop by the nearest McDonalds to get a cone. I tried their McFlurry's (pricey) Bubblegum and it tasted sweet as sugar. Never again!

Queen Victoria Building

It's such an old but beautiful building that's filled with designers and stores like Lush even! Note that a few malls do provide free wifi which is why my friends were surprised that I was able to reply their messages in a jiffy. Malls here sucked because they close as early as 6pm. Some stores even close according to their own preference.

Lastly, you can't visit Australia without seeing Kangaroos and Koalas right? Instead of going to a zoo, we went to Wild Life Sydney Zoo that has less animals but you get to go close with them but the kangaroos were so shy that we proceeded with Koalas that cost us $10 to take a photo with it.
They smell like mints which isn't even bad. At all. Their fur is so soft and they are probably the most pampered animals ever. We were lucky to have 1 Koala awake as we were approaching to take photos.

I wanted to include the Chinatown, The Rocks, Chinese Garden from Friendship but this is based on iPhone photos and I took most of it from my digital camera. Fret not, I have uploaded them in my Facebook.
Evidentially I am equally blessed to be able to visit such beautiful country that I won't forget and I hope I am able to visit new and more countries next year.

Have a wonderful week ahead!

I have been meaning to blog about this makeup remover since July but couldn't really bring myself to do but here I am! I picked this up while purchasing my Eyeko mascara and eyeliner. I am pretty sure it will be a whole easier to remove my makeup than scrubbing your face to get every bits of mascara off, right?
It was described as paraben-free and fragrance-free and is able to remove all waterproof makeup!

It comes in 2 sizes and of course, I picked the tiny one because I forgot to pack my makeup remover for college. But but but it's not that cheap considering I paid RM24 for this tiny item.
But did it do wonders?
And bonus points for being in blue color because it is my favorite color ever!

It is somewhat like two layers of blue colored liquids and you will have to shake it before using it.

The substance and is kind of watery and has a slight oil texture which is probably good for those stubborn waterproof eyeliners and mascaras.

Let's put to the test ...

[ applied Urban Decay's eyeshadows, Eyeko Eye Do eyeliner and Black Magic mascara ]

Apply the cotton onto the places you want to remove for mere 3-5 seconds and it all goes away with just 1-2 wipes.

You will feel a little oil-watery feeling but it didn't sting my face at all! Especially eye areas are so delicate and completely fuss-free!

Overall,
For it's quite affordable price for many (but little amount), you can substitute your expensive makeup removers for this if you are on a budget.
I am so glad it removes my waterproof eye makeup easily without stinging my eyes like others would.

Will I repurchase? Yes if I could finish my The Body Shop Camomile cleansing oil.

That's all for my review and I hope the weekend approaching will do good for my student life lol.

I have been meaning about to blog about this cult product for sometime but I feel like I should use it long enough before I even make a legit review. If you know me, I suffer from horrible eyebags and in case you are going to advice me to sleep early, eat well and all sorts of nonsense - let me cut you right here, it can be the cause of hereditary.

This purchase was also a random one as we only have 1 Nars store in Malaysia at Pavilion and I rarely go there so it was sort of like telling my boyfriend how much I needed a concealer and the next thing you know I am sitting on a stool while letting Nars' MUA touch up my face.

Nars have always been recommended by many YouTube makeup gurus when it comes to concealers but I don't know if I would feel the need to pay RM100 for 3g but I bit the bullet.

It was described as a moisturising, fills the fine lines and imperfections without creasing.
I thought, why not?

There are ten shades and I am very yellow undertone so I feel the MUA did a good job on getting me the right color without going too light or wrong undertones.
(my shade is Ginger ; Medium 2)

I use this concealer on my eye bags only while the rest of acne scars or imperfections, I resort it to M.A.C Studio Finish (amazing product but overly thick for eyebags)
It feels not sticky nor watery. I was a little unconvinced this could do wonders but it does!

 Before ;

{ I look like a zombie without anything }

After ;

{ after }

Verdict :
It won't magically remove my eyebags but the least it could do was make it brighter and it did! Usually it doesn't set into my fine lines but with my lack of sleep and eye cream?
Overall, I enjoy this product as it doesn't caked up my eyes and the doe foot applicator makes it so convenient! I wouldn't say it's long lasting but it wears off within 5-7 hours. To be extra safe, seal it with a loose powder. It doesn't crease on my eyes but it is quite moisturising that you will feel it makes your eye bags quite dewy (am I explaining this right?)  If the price could be a little more reasonable, I am sure many would purchase this but if you do find an alternative, do let me know!
